WOOLWICH'S King's Troop went on a ride with a difference this morning - dressed as presents, elves and escorting Father Christmas through the area.
Christmas Eve saw the festive troop spotted at places including Blackheath and Charlton.
The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery moved from St John’s Wood last year to a £16m bespoke building called Napier Lines at Woolwich Barracks.
Known as 'The Troop', they consist of seven officers, 164 soldiers and 109 horses, and pull the First World War 'thirteen pounder' state saluting guns.
