THE man who stabbed himself in Sidcup and died has been named as Christian Thomas-Bristow.

The 27-year-old, from Sidcup, was found in an alley behind Sidcup library in Hadlow Road at around 3pm on December 5.

It is thought he stabbed himself in the stomach area before being flown to Royal London Hospital by an air ambulance which took off from The Green nearby.

He died as a result of his injuries in hospital on December 10.

An inquest into Mr Thomas-Bristow's death was opened and adjourned at South London Coroner's court in Croydon on December 19.

A cause of death has not yet been determined, but it is thought he used a kitchen knife which he stole from the 99p Store in the High Street just around the corner from where he was found.
