A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital following a crash which occurred this morning (Dec 23) on Watling Street coastbound before the Northfleet junction in Ebbsfleet.
Four fire engines are on the scene along with Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service by the slip road to the B259.
Nearby traffic was congested as a result of the incident which is believed to have happened at around 7.50am. All lanes are open and traffic is now easing.
A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman said: "We were called to Watling Street, Ebbsfleet, at 7.40am to a two-car road traffic collision. Two ambulances and a single responder attended.
"A woman believe to be in her 40s was taken to Darent Valley Hospital after suffering a head injury."
