CHRISTMAS came early in Orpington as youngsters from a local school took part in two quirky nativity performances.

The children of Crofton Junior School, aged eight and nine, put together The Good, the Bad and the Donkey while the four and five-year-old nippers of Crofton Infant School performed Whoops a Daisy Angel.

The Good, the Bad and the Donkey is a modern interpretation of the nativity, where Doris the Donkey transports Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem just in time for the birth of baby Jesus.

Meanwhile Whoops a Daisy Angel tells the story an angel who keeps making mistakes.
