AN ELTHAM man has pleaded guilty to producing his own cannabis after getting caught by police and telling them 'I was rubbish at growing my own and had several attempts'.
Paul Rayment, 46, of Rochester Way, appeared at Bexley Magistrates Court on Tuesday (Dec 17) and admitted growing 24 cannabis plants in his garden shed and a second charge of possessing cannabis resin.
Police officers also seized £2000 in cash from the house on August 8 this year.
Mr Rayment was given unconditional bail and the case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report on December 20.
