SANTA is sledging into Sidcup this Saturday (Dec 14) with some real reindeer putting in an appearance.
The event in the High Street also includes Santa’s Grotto, a barn owl, a stilt walker, a recycled Christmas decoration competition, music, free children’s activities, and craft stalls offering a variety of products.
There will be a free mince pie and glass of mulled wine for the adults and anyone who donates to the foodbank is entered into a raffle to win one of seven Waitrose hampers.
On the same day a new Christmas pop up shop is opening at 9 High Street for any last minute festive treats.
Bexley Council cabinet member for regeneration, Councillor Linda Bailey said: "It’s great to see so much exciting activity taking place in Sidcup.
"I hope lots of people will come along to enjoy the festivities and see all the great products on offer on the high street."
