ASTLEY Day Centre raised over £1,300 with a memorable Christmas bazaar that got hundreds of people in the festive spirit.
The bazaar, held in the Magpie Hall Lane centre, featured a range of stalls selling Christmas-themed produce such as jams and jewellery, scarves and sweets, and Christmas cards and homemade cake.
Andrew Blake, Day Services manager for Bromley borough, said: "The event was for people who use our services and for people in the local community.
"In total around 200 people attended.
"We had a range of stalls with people selling their produce.
"We turned our sensory room into a Santa's Grotto, which was nice for the kids to go to, and had boccia sessions, which is a form of bowls for adults with complex needs.
"It was a great day, I was really proud of my staff, they worked really hard and a lot of people gave up their time.
"It demonstrated to me the value we have within our local community."
