NEW Cross EastEnders star Laila Morse has become the second contestant to be voted out of I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! - but tearfully said the experience made her "a better person".

The 68-year-old actress and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air's Alfonso Ribeiro were the final two celebrities to find out their fate on tonight's ITV1 show.

When her name was read out, the actress - best known for playing Big Mo in the BBC1 soap - clapped her hands and said: "Thank you!".

It came the day after she completed her first solo Bush Tucker trial, winning 10 out of 11 stars for her fellow jungle inhabitants by getting up close and personal with a number of creepy crawlies, and even a 30kg crocodile.

Morse, the sister of actor Gary Oldman, said she was pleased to have contributed to camp life during her 17-day stint, adding: "At least I've done my trial."

Other campmates appeared distraught however, hugging her and crying "No!". Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter pleaded: "Don't take her away, don't go".

Asked by show hosts Ant and Dec how she felt at being evicted, Morse said: "Disappointed, really. But I could do with a nice hot bath."

She appeared emotional as she continued: "It's made me a better person. I was always a bit fiery and... don't cry again... and it's calmed me down.

"Had a lot to think about, family, and yeah - I'm glad I've done it."

She tipped Westlife singer Kian Egan as a potential winner of this year's series.

Morse described being covered by crabs during her Who Dares Wins Stars trial as "quite invigorating" and "quite a nice feeling" and said being in close proximity to a snake was "easy".
