IS IT OK to go to the cinema on your own? Or out for a meal by yourself? Or to go a gig without any friends?
Today we’re asking whether there should be any social dilemma about going to entertainment venues which are usually the domain of couples or groups.
Have you ever been to seen a film, sit down to eat in a restaurant or watch a band play when you’ve not had anyone else to go with? Did it make you feel awkward at all?
If you’ve never done it, would you consider flying solo on a night out some time or would you be too scared of being seen as a sad Billy-No-Mates?
When you see someone ‘out, out’ who is obviously on their own what do you think of them? Should someone ever be seen as a loner or social pariah just because they might want to enjoy their own company?
