A TEENAGER was hit by a car in Sidcup yesterday afternoon causing traffic chaos.
The 18-year-old student was struck at around 4.30pm by the traffic lights on the corner between Hurst Road and Station Road.
Once ambulance crews arrived the pedestrian was seen to be sitting up in the road with a white bandage around his head.
Angela Yue, 27, came in for her shift behind the counter at Hing's Chinese takeway opposite the junction immediately after the incident.
She said: "There was just a man sat down in the road and a car, I think it was a Honda, parked nearby.
"He was sitting up and he had a massive white bandage on his head. You could see blood spots on the bandage."
Ambulance crews took the victim to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was treated for a cut to the head, leg injuries and chest pains.
Police had to direct traffic which was congested for around 45 minutes.
