POLICE are appealing for information after a 14-year-old boy had his phone stolen at Elmers End station.
Images of two youths have been released in connection with the incident, which took place on Thursday October 8.
Sergeant Darren Stenning, investigating, said: "The victim, a 14-year-old boy from Croydon, was travelling on a tram towards Elmers End when he was approached by two youths.
"They threatened to take his phone off him, but then said that they wouldn’t and walked away.
"When the tram arrived at Elmers End, the pair followed the victim off the tram and onto the footbridge, where they took his phone, around 4pm."
He added: "If you recognise the youths pictured, or know their whereabouts, then please get in touch with us."
Anyone with information should contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
