COMMUTERS in south east London could be experiencing a tricky morning with a slow service on some trains on the Southeastern line.

The company has tweeted about various delays due to signalling problems and congestion and the slow service has prompted angry tweets from residents who are struggling to get to work on time.

Through its Twitter feed, @SE_Railway, it said: “Due to signalling problems between Ladywell and Catford Bridge, services running through these stations may be delayed up to 15 minutes.

“Update: 09:47 Ashford International to London Victoria due 11:21 will no longer call at Swanley, St Mary Cray and Bromley South.

“The 9.52 Datford to London Charing Cross will no longer call at Barnehurst, Bexleyheath, Welling, Falconwood, Eltham and Kidbrooke.”

Meanwhile @WebAsh asked: “@Se_Railway ...why did a Charing Cross Greenwich service scheduled to stop at LBG just skip it with no announcements? Pain in the a***!”

The train company said: “This service was cancelled at London Bridge due to congestion caused by earlier delays.”
