Plumstead/Woolwich man wanted for inappropriately touching Dartford teenager on Crayford train
CCTV images of a man who touched a Dartford teenager inappropriately on a train to Crayford have been released.
The suspect, thought to have connections to the Woolwich and Plumstead areas, approached the 15-year-old girl on a service from London Bridge.
After first asking her whether the train stopped at Woolwich, he then moved seats and sat close to her, making inappropriate comments whilst repeatedly touching her leg.
British Transport Police Detective Constable Andy Parkinson said: “This was understandably an incredibly distressing experience for the victim, who was left very upset and shaken by what took place.
“We don’t tolerate unwanted sexual behaviour of any kind on the transport network and take all reports seriously.
“If you recognise the man, or have any information that could help our investigation, please contact us.”
The incident happened between 4.15pm and 4.45pm on August 20.
