Jail for Forest Hill teen who hid loaded gun under bathtub
A FOREST Hill teen who hid a loaded revolver under his bath has been jailed for five and a half years.
Police raided Xavier Gabman's Elsinore Road home in January, uncovering cannabis in his bedroom.
And when they searched the bathroom, officers found the fireaim underneath the side panelling of his tub.
The 18-year-old was sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court on October 18, after being convicted last month of possession of a loaded firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
Detective Constable Will Lewis from the Met's Operation Trilogy guns and drugs investigation unit said: "We continue to crack down on gang-related criminality and Gabman's conviction should demonstrate the commitment Operation Trilogy has to removing dangerous criminals and their weapons from the streets.
"We continue to relentlessly pursue offenders and bring them to justice."
