REMEMBER, remember the fifth of November.
Or, this year, you're better off remembering the second because that's when most of the whizz bangs will be happening.

Chislehurst Rotary Fireworks
Old Elthamians Sports Ground, Perry St
Saturday, November 2 from 6pm, for a 7.30pm display
The Chislehurst Recreation ground is being reseeded, the there’s a new venue for one year only. Old Elthamians is larger, so the fireworks will be bigger and better than ever, with aerial fireworks up to 150mm calibre for the purists.
There will also be more low level and rotating devices not seen in Chislehurst for years.
Alongside the display, there will be sideshows, a fun fair, hog roast and the like, and parking should be easier too.

Erith Leisure Centre
Avenue Road, Erith
Friday, November 1 from 6pm for a 7pm show
Following a successful bonfire night last year, Erith Leisure Centre is having another go.
There will be live entertainment, including dancing and music, a children’s Halloween fancy dress competition, a laser light show and two firework displays.
Food and drink will be available.

Westerham Scouts Fireworks Night
King George’s Field, Westerham
Saturday, November 2, from 5.30pm with a 6.30pm display
Fireworks with bar and barbecue. Adults £8, children £5. Two adults and two children, £18.

The Rotary Club of West Wickham’s Firework Display
Saturday, November 9m from 6pm to 8pm
Langley Park School for Girls, Hawkbrook Lane, Beckenham
Proceeds go to St Christopher’s Hospice, other charities, community projects and the school. There will be hot food, drinks, mulled wine and glow sticks to purchase.

Dartford Lion’s Fireworks
Central Park Dartford
Saturday, November 2 from 5pm, bonfire at 7.15pm and fireworks at 8pm.
Adults £4, children £2, with a £1 increase on the gate. Pick up tickets at Craft Frames in West Hill, EllenorLions shops in Spital Street or Darent Valley Hospital, Cafe in the Park.

Danson Park Fireworks
Danson Park, Welling
Saturday, November 2, gates open at 6pm and display starts at 8pm.
Welling Round Table once again brings one of the biggest fireworks events in the south east to Danson Park, with choreographed fireworks to music.
All profit, as ever, goes back into the community.
Tickets cost £6 adults and £4 five to 15-year-olds in advance and another £2 on the gate. Go to dansonparkfireworks.co.uk
Norman Park Fireworks
Norman Park, Bromley
Saturday, November 2, from 5pm. Bonfire 7.30pm, fireworks 8pm.
Norman Park boasts the only real bonfire in Bromley, along with fireworks and a family funfair until 10pm.
It is in association with the Children with Special Needs Foundation too.

Truck Racing and Firework Display
Sunday, November 3.
The 1,000bhp trucks that can outdrag a Porsche 911 and corner with astonishing agility, will provide fireworks on the tracks all weekend, while the Sunday’s show will culminate in a Guy Fawkes spectacular.
Off track entertainment includes a circus workshop, monster truck rides, face painting, go karting and more. Raceday admission costs £22. Go to brandshatch.co.uk
Blackheath, Shooters Hill Road
Saturday, November 2, fireworks at 8pm.
One of the biggest free events in the capital, attracting up to 100,000 people each year. There will be a funfair from 4pm, bar and food stalls from 5pm before the main display at 8pm.
Beckenham Round Table Fireworks and Funfair
Croydon Road Recreation Ground
Saturday, November 2, from 6pm.
Beckenham Round Table’s show is accompanied by a fun fair, which runs until 10pm. The 20 to 25 minute main event goes off at 8pm. Pay on the gates, adults £5, children under 16 £3 and under 5s free.
Crystal Palace Fireworks
Crystal Palace Park
Tuesday, November 5 from 6pm.
This year there’s a children’s show at 7pm with less noisy, more colourful fireworks and an adult show with a grand display set to music.

Brockwell Park fireworks
Brockwell Park, Dulwich Road, SE24
Tuesday, November 5, from 5pm
Lambeth Council’s night is themed around the four seasons and is created by the team who did the London Olympic fireworks. There will also be a morris men, stilt walkers, fire dancers and live music.
SOLD OUT: Birkbeck Primary School Fireworks
Alma Road, Sidcup
Friday, November 8, from 4.30pm to 7pm
As well as a professional display, there will be children’s fairground rides, tea cup and swing boats, fairground games, barbecue, refreshments, glowing merchandise, beer tent and confectionary.
The Mayor of Bexley, councillor Sharon Massey, will open the show.
Tickets cost £3 in advance or £4 on the gate. Under 3s free.
Gravesend Musical Firework Display
Riverside Leisure Area
Friday, November 1
Stan Lee King's Roadshow will provide a musical backdrop and Smith's Carnival Funfair will provide thrills at the free family display. The Gates at the Riverside Leisure Area open at 6pm and the fireworks start at 8pm. There will be food and drink on sale, and you should use the town centre car parks.
