Gravesend business expo welcomes more than 80 firms to The Woodville
KENT businesses had a chance to network, swap ideas and learn new skills at an expo in Gravesend yesterday.
More than 80 of the county’s top firms gathered at The Woodville for the B2B event run by the Kent Chamber of Commerce.
The day started with a free networking breakfast from 7am to 8am featuring free business advice in one-to-one meetings, learning workshops and speed networking sessions and a chance to meet key decision makers from across Kent.
Meanwhile, keynote speaker Ellis Pitt took to the stage to share insights gained from more than 30 years working with high street names like Lakeland Plastics.
The day finished with canapés, cocktails and more networking at 5pm.
News Shopper was there too and sales manager Steve Leigh said: "Our stand was very busy and well received by a number of clients and potential clients in the Dartford and Gravesend area and beyond.
"It was a really well formed event by the Kent Chamber of Commerce and we walked away with some key potential contacts."
