Young film maker wins role with Thamesmead Town Football Club
A BUDDING film maker has won a role on a project about Thamesmead Town Football Club.
Farrell Stanlick, 14, has attended a film club at The Link in Belvedere Road, run by production company Pixelform Studios, for around a year.
She will use her skills to let club manager Keith McMahon review the team’s performance.
The student from Plumstead Manor School, in Old Mill Road, was specially chosen for the role because of her camera skills and her enthusiasm for the game.
Farrell said "I love football and I love film making - I never thought I’d get the opportunity to combine my two passions."
Head of production at Pixelform Studios, Michael Wearing, said: "Thamesmead Town was keen to have more community involvement in the club and using one of our members to capture the games was a simple and effective way to do this."
