Bexley's Sam Bailey through to X Factor live shows
BEXLEY’S Sam Bailey wowed Sharon Osbourne and Robbie Williams as she won herself a place on the X Factor live shows at the weekend.
The 35-year-old prison officer grew up in Bexley and was a student at Cleve Park School in Bexley Lane, Sidcup.
She was also a regular in The Albany Pub in Steynton Avenue but now lives with her husband and two children in Leicestershire.
After performing Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing in Los Angeles, she was told by Mrs O: “I have to say you went backwards, you didn’t go forward - I didn’t see the natural progression.
“That is why you’re going to stick with me and if you don’t win this contest I’m going to kick your arse.”
Sam responded saying: “I won’t let you down, I promise. Oh my god I need a cup of tea.”
Watch Sam at 8pm on ITV.
