A POTTY-MOUTHED alcoholic turned up drunk to his Lewisham McDonald's induction day and insulted the staff.

Bromley Magistrates' Court heard how Oliver Martin, aged 22, of no fixed abode, arrived at the Lewisham High Street fast food branch on September 11 this year.

After a concerned customer care manager noticed he appeared drunk and smelt the booze on his breath, she asked for help and was branded "a snitch" by Martin.

And when a PCSO was summoned he called the worker "a f**king b***h" and told the officer to "f**k off" in front of families eating their burgers.

Martin, who pleaded guilty to using threatening words or behaviour, said he was a manic depressive who was now seeking help for his alcohol problem.

He told the court: "It was kind of a rock bottom sort of scenario."

Judge Michael Fanning adjourned the sentencing until October 24. As part of his bail conditions, he is forbidden from entering the Lewisham burger outlet.

Rock bottom at 22 years old. This is the first of many. Working in MC donalds is a rock bottom job. When are kids gonna be taught real trades and skillz? Sending them to school is not the answer.

Jeez, tough break.

Obvious question, but what is this doing at court? It's hardly crime of the century. Did our already overburdened courts really need to deal with this?

There are apparently 1000s of cases of serious crimes like assault, robbery, and even rape which have only got a caution in the past few years rather than a conviction. So this going to court? Wtf.

This sounds like the clearest cut case of a power crazed, jobs-worth, PCSO, I've ever read.

So like I say, tough break.
