Give up smoking with Greenwich Stoptober roadshow
GREENWICH Council is helping people to ditch their cigarettes as part of the national Stoptober quit smoking campign.
Stoptober challenges smokers to give up cigarettes for October, in order to increase their chances of staying smoke-free for life.
The council is working with Charlton Athletic Community Trust to provide support and tips throughout the month.
As part of the campaign, a roadshow will tour the borough offering free one-to-one sessions with trained advisors as well as lung age tests and Carbon Monoxide tests.
It will be at Orangery lane, Eltham, on Tuesdays from 10am to 5pm. It also hits Sainsbury's in Charlton on Wednesdays, Abbey Wood Lidl on Thursdays and Charlton Asda on Fridays from 10am to 6pm.
On Saturdays, General Gordon Square gets a visit from 11am to 5pm.
