A PEDESTRIAN was hit by a motorbike outside New Cross Gate station this morning (September 23) - the third serious accident in the area over recent days.
Ambulances were sent to the scene at 8.23am to reports of a motorcycle in collision with a pedestrian.
A spokeswoman said: "We treated one patient, a man believed to be in his 20s, and took him to Lewisham Hospital with a leg injury."
The accident comes days after a 79-year-old man died after going into cardiac arrest at the scene of an incident in Amersham Road on September 20.
And last Sunday (September 15), a man in his 40s was hit by a BMW outside New Cross station. He died three days later in hospital.
