POLICE are appealing for help after a burglary in Beckenham which saw around £2,000 of jewellery taken.

Two suspects were photographed leaving a house in Park Road on a silver moped and holding a safe at 11am on July 28.

The safe contained mainly Indian 24 carat gold necklaces, bracelets, earrings.

Detective Sergent Stuart Roberts, of the Burglary Squad at Bromley, is leading the investigation. 

He said: "I am appealing for anyone who was in the area of Park Road, Beckenham at around 11.30am on July 28 and saw two men carrying a box or safe away from an address.

"The two men then left the scene on a moped, carrying the box on the seat between them.
