BRITAIN'S Got Talent star Pulse stepped into a Lewisham street dance class to show youngsters how it's done.

The Lewisham Homes funded Love2Dance project has been teaching more than 40 young people street dance on Sydenham's Hazel Grove Estate this summer.

And this month, a member of dynamic south east London duo Twist and Pulse dropped in after being invited by choreographers Aaron Augustus and Danni Reid.

Pulse, real name Glen Murphy, said: "When I heard about the invite to teach this masterclass I was more than happy to as this was happening in my own community.

"The students were very welcoming and exciting. There was a lot of talent and I could see a great deal of potential. I hope their performances go well and hopefully be invited back."

Dancers aged between eight and 18 have been learning their moves ahead of an October exam and two public performances – one at Lewisham Council’s TNG Youth Centre and the second in front of thousands of fans at Millwall's game at The Den on November 2.

Love2Dance is run by Lewisham-based Inspire Youth Dance Company. Visit inspireyouthdancecompany.co.uk for details.
