Pedestrian in critical condition after being hit by car in Gravesend
A PEDESTRIAN is in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Gravesend on Wednesday.
The 51-year-old man local man was rushed to hospital with head and chest injuries after being hit at 1pm by a green Citroen Berlingo in Milton Road near the junction of Peacock Street.
He was hit by a car being driven by a 66-year-old woman from the Gravesend area, who was driving in the direction of the town centre.
Kent Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
