Teenager arrested after 81-year-old was kicked in the head on Bromley South train
A TEENAGER has been arrested after an 81-year-old man was kicked in the head on a train near Bromley South station.
British Transport Police (BTP) launched an investigation after the elderly victim was attacked on July 19 and suffered severe swelling and a possible fracture to his left cheek.
Officers appealed for information last week and circulated a photo of a man they wanted to speak to in connection with the incident.
A BTP spokesman told News Shopper today: “I can confirm an 18-year-old man from Orpington has been arrested on suspicion of GBH following an incident on a train travelling close to Bromley South station on July 19.
“The man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries and is due to return on October 2.”
