TWO women have been injured in a crash which closed a section of Crayford town centre this afternoon.
Emergency services were called at around 2.15pm to the collision between a black Ford Puma and a grey Honda Accord next to Sainsbury's petrol station in Stadium Way.
The crash happened yards from Spurs and England striker Jermain Defoe who is signing autographs inside the main store this afternoon.
Firefighters in three engines from Bexley and Erith helped rescue one woman who was trapped in a car and another woman who was suffering from a neck injury.
London Ambulance Service say the pair were treated at the scene and taken to Darent Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The collision caused major disruption on the town centre's one-way system with queues in and around Sainsbury's car park..
