Woolwich Greyhound licensing review after gang shooting
WOOLWICH pub The Greyhound is facing a licensing review after a gang shooting in the car park last month.
According to a licensing report by police, the victim of July 27's incident was a known gang member in a "well known hotspot for drug dealing".
The man, who had been drinking inside, was shot at around 2.40am in the pub car park from a nearby balcony, the report says.
Since the incident, a 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and was bailed until October 1.
The Kingsman Parade venue is now being asked to add extra security measures following the incident.
A Greenwich Council licensing committee will discuss the matter on August 29.
