New look for Ferrari's restaurant in Bromley
ONE of Bromley’s most famous restaurants has re-opened after getting a face-lift.
Ferrarri’s, based in East Street, has served fresh Italian food including pasta and pizza for the past 15 years.
However manager Mark Evans decided it was time to refurbish the interior and it was closed between February until last month.
He has also updated the menu with the help of executive chef Paolo Barone who leads his team in an open plan kitchen.
Meanwhile, there is a range of introductory offers to encourage people to sample the new style.
Mr Evans said: "They are changing East Street and planting more trees to make it more Al Fresco so we wanted to take advantage of that.
"We've made part of the restaurant more open and cafe-style with a consortia door so you feel like you're eating outside and the other part is for fine dining.
"I wanted to make it more like the Italian style, where you sit outside and enjoy life. That's the way it's supposed to be.
"We've also developed the bar so people can just drop in for a drink. It really looks terrific now."
There are also custom-made chairs with scallop-style legs and new tiles to enhance the exotic atmosphere.
He said: "We were Bromley's top restaurant for many years and we want to get back there again.
"We've also adapted the menu just to make it a bit more quirky but we've kept the focus on fresh, Italian food."
