LOOTERS from the Catford riots are those most sought by Lewisham police this Wanted Wednesday.

There are 29 suspects captured on CCTV who are still wanted two years after JD Sports, in Plassy Island, was trashed by vandals on August 8, 2011.

Police are determined to track down those responsible for the disorder where shop windows were smashed before thousands of pounds of stock was stolen within 90 minutes.

Scotland Yard detectives have so far arrested a total of 4,960 suspects London-wide with an 86 per cent conviction rate for those charged and more than 1,000 custodial sentences handed out.
