A MAN due to appear before Dartford magistrates this afternoon never made it to his hearing after punching through a court window.
The 46-year-old appeared to be intoxicated as he stormed around the court minutes before he lost control just before 3pm and smashed a window of one of the court’s buildings from the outside.
The Gravesend resident was due to appear in court two but walked into court one and sat down unannounced before being removed by security.
Police and ambulance crews were called at 2.55pm and the defendant was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
