BROMLEY South toilets have re-opened after a five-month loo break.
The facilities in the busy station opened in the last week of January following a £4m upgrade and a year’s worth of work but the brand new facilities were closed a week later.
The problem was reportedly caused by an issue with the pipes under the platforms and track, which Southeastern said caused the toilets to get blocked before the redevelopment works happened.
They were re-opened in mid-June, five months after engineers began working on them.
A Network Rail spokesman said: “We have worked with Southeastern to clear the blockage which had closed the toilets at Bromley South and they are now fully open to passengers.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
