AN ORPINGTON road was blocked this afternoon (July 9) after an elderly lady fell in the road.
The A232 Spur Road was partially closed due to an accident on the A223 Sevenoaks Road near Orpington High Street at around 1pm but has been re-opened.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 11.45am to reports of a patient who had fallen on Spur Road.
“We sent one ambulance crew to the scene and our staff treated one patient, a woman reported to be in her 80s.
“She was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital in Farnborough”.
