AN OVERTURNED dustcart has closed a road in Thamesmead.
The A2016 Eastern Way has been shut in both directions at Sunset Road following the incident at the roundabout.
London Ambulance Service staff treated a man in his 40s for minor injuries after being called at 11.15am.
Three fire engines from Woolwich, Plumstead and Bexley stations were also called to the scene at 11.16am to reports of an overturned recycling lorry.
No one was trapped in the vehicle and the crews left around half an hour later, leaving the incident to police.
Bus Route 472 is on diversion.
