A 39-YEAR-OLD man has been charged following a fight in Thamesmead in the early hours of Saturday (JULY 6) morning.
Mark Erhijakpor, of Tidelsea Path, Thamesmead, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent following an incident in Crowden Way at 2.10am.
A man in his 30s suffered an injury to his neck during the attack and was initially rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
The victim is now said to be in a stable condition but he remains at a south London hospital.
Erhijakpor appeared at Bexley Magistrates Court yesterday (JULY 8) where he was remanded in custody.
His next court appearance date is to be set.
