AN UNEXPLODED Second World War bomb was discovered and destroyed in Charlton this morning.
Bugsby's Way was closed for around three hours at the Horn Lane junction while a bomb disposal squad attended.
Some people were also evacuated from properties and businesses in the area.
A workman made the discovery shortly after 10am and dialled 99.
The road re-opened at around 12.30pm.
