AN ASSAULT outside a Greenwich peninsula bus stop left a 21-year-old man with a head injury, police say.

Ambulance crews were called out on June 23 at 2.36am to Blackwall Tunnel Approach, where they found the injured man outside the Studio 338 nightclub.

It is believed his head injury came after an altercation involving four males and one female which took place at a nearby bus stop.

Another man was also injured as a result of the attack. They are both recovering at home.

Greenwich CID have released CCTV stills of people they want to trace following the incident.

They want to trace the group of white men, believed to be aged 17 or 18 years old, and a girl, believed to be 15.

One of the men was seen wearing a striped yellow and dark blue or purple top. They are all believed to have come from the direction of North Greenwich tube.
