THE chairman of a Dartford and Gravesham health board has been recognised in the Queen’s birthday honours list.
Sarah Dunnett is chairman of the Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust board and has been awarded an OBE by her majesty for services to the NHS.
Mrs Dunnett said: "I am humbled by the award which I feel reflects more the achievements of the trust and all its staff as a whole."
Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust chief executive Susan Acott added: "Sarah has led the trust board through some difficult times over the past 11-and-a-half years but has always maintained the principle that patient care is, and always will be, the trust’s number one priority.
"This award rightly recognises the contribution that Sarah has made to health services in Kent."
