A CAR crashed into a Locksbottom bus stop injuring five people after the driver reportedly blacked out.

The accident happened at around 5pm on Friday (June 28) when a Toyota Corolla smashed into a stop in Crofton Road near Park Avenue.

The woman, 41, who had been driving was taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRU) in Farnborough and a 11-year-old girl, who had been in the car, was treated for shock.

Five people, including four teenage girls and a 48-year-old woman, who were waiting at the bus stop received minor injuries and were also treated at the PRU.

There were no arrests.
