European Active Projects Ltd, a marine services company based in Chatham, Kent, has provided a vehicle to a local team who are participating in the Mongolia Charity Rally.

Anna Skentelbery, of Lewisham, and Ashley Ferguson, of Rainham, Kent, have spent the last six months planning for the Mongolia Charity Rally.

The charity event will see them travel 8,500 miles through 15 countries over the course of 30 days in the donated van.

The team of two, named Stop Yakking!, have already raised over £1,000 for Go Help and hope to raise more before they depart on July 6.

The vehicle, a Vauxhall Combo, provided by European Active Projects Ltd will also be donated on arrival to the charity to be utilised in their community and medical projects.

Anna said: "We’re really grateful that European Active Projects Ltd have chosen to support the team, it’s incredibly generous and we know that the charity are going to get a really great vehicle at the end of the journey that will change lives in Mongolia."

Steve Jones, managing director of European Active Projects Ltd, said “We are delighted to be involved, wish Anna and Ashley the best of luck on the trip and hope the community in Mongolia get good use of the Combo when it arrives”
