A BROMLEY jewellery business has a sparkler of a new employee.
Sam Towens recently graduated from Goldsmiths University with a design BA and has now joined Flawless Jewellery.
The 25-year-old company has branches in Green Lane, Chislehurst, and Westerham High Street.
Owner Robert Bicknell will train him as part of a traditional diamond mounting apprenticeship for a few months before Mr Towens is moved to the Westerham shop full-time as the in-house jeweller.
One of his first tasks will be creating a piece he designed for Holts Future Jewel Competition for which he was highly commended in 2011.
Mr Towens said: "I am so thrilled at the opportunity to physically make the piece I created for the competition.
"It will be my dream come true and I am so thankful to Robert for the chance to work for Flawless."
