RED, white and blue were the colours of the day at an Eltham party to mark the coronation at Demelza children’s hospice.
Union jack bows, hats, dresses and even tights were worn by children, parents, volunteers and staff to the party as well as a host of colourful outfits.
Ten children, aged three to 15, took part in an arts and crafts session to make crowns before heading outside to play games including an egg and spoon race.
Head of care Sarah Carter, said: "We love to take every opportunity for the children and young people to celebrate and build some great memories."
Demelza, celebrating its 15th birthday this year, offers support for families across south east London by providing respite, support and end of life care for life-threatened children through its hospices in Wensley Close, Eltham and also in Sittingbourne, Kent.
