A 29-YEAR-OLD man who was arrested after a crash in Sydenham, where a passenger had to have his leg amputated, is due in crown court next week.
Barry Scollan, from Croydon, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on June 3 charged with dangerous driving, drink driving and driving without an MOT.
He is next set to appear at Croydon Crown Court on Monday (June 17).
The charges relate to an incident on November 10 last year where a Subaru Impreza hit a tree in Woodbastwick Road.
The Subaru passenger remains in a specialist rehabilitation centre receiving treatment for injuries sustained in the crash.
