A WOMAN has been rescued following a country lane crash in Bean this afternoon.
Two fire engines, police officers and ambulance crews were called to Sandbanks Hill at about 12.40pm.
Firefighters helped paramedics release the woman who was trapped in a black Honda Insight.
She was taken by land ambulance to Medway Maritime Hospital with a neck injury.
No other vehicles were involved. Highcross Road with the junction with Bean Lane was closed and reopened shortly after 2pm.
