A MOTHER from Dartford has told of her anger at finding a dead foal wrapped in a plastic bag abandoned in a ditch.
Hazel Evans, 31, was returning to her car in Crockenhill Lane, Swanley, at around 12pm yesterday (June 9) after a morning at the Pedham Place Farm car boot sale when partner Dean Goodger, 43, came across the gruesome find.
The black and white baby horse was stuffed into a large transparent sack along with a brown floor rug in a ditch not far from the road.
The Willow Road resident told News Shopper: "When Dean first told me that there was a dead foal in a bag I welled up and nearly cried.
"When I actually saw it I felt very angry. It’s understandable an animal might die but there are better ways of disposing of them than chucking them in a bag and dumping it in a ditch."
The nightclub administrator kept daughter Tiana and her friend Chloe Rossiter, both 10, waiting in the car.
The mother-of-one said: "We didn’t let them go up there and see it as Tiana would have been in pieces if she had."
