TWO people from Swanley have been hit with driving bans after being caught more than twice over the drink driving limit in the town.
Adrian John Thorogood, 39, and Maxine Edmeads, 35, were sentenced at West Kent Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 28.
Thorogood, of Manse Way, was stopped while driving a Nissan Note in Salisbury Avenue, Swanley, on May 1.
After pleading guilty to drink driving, magistrates disqualified Thorogood from driving for three years and ordered him to pay a £92 fine, £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
Edmeads pleaded guilty to drink driving after being stopped from her home in Southern Place on March 24.
Magistrates disqualified her from driving for 20 months and ordered to her pay a £180 fine, £85 in costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
