CONTROVERSIAL plans to open a sixth Tesco store in Gravesham are being put on show this afternoon.
The supermarket giant is hosting a public exhibition from 4-7pm for residents to look at its proposal to open a store in Wrotham Road.
The new shop is set to replace independent hardware business Meopham Building Supplies which has been based in Meopham Parade for 25 years.
Bryan Sweetland, Kent County Councillor for Gravesham Rural, fears the area is fast becoming “Tesco town”.
Do you think Meopham will benefit from another Tesco?
