The Crystals are on the lookout for recruits and so held an audition session at HJA Academy, Croydon Road, Beckenham, where 20 women tried out.

Fitness coach Claire Eglinton put the women through their paces with a short fitness test before the group was split in half and taught part of a routine.

Crystals head coach Bronia Gosling says the auditionees will find out soon whether have made the team.

She said: "We had 20 girls attend the audition and they all did a great job.

"Everyone who attended worked hard and we are very grateful they took the time to come down."
