EBBSFLEET United are offering fans the chance to play on their professional pitch in an effort to raise funds needed to save the club.
Teams of 13 or 14 players can pay a minimum of £10 each to rent out the Stonebridge Road pitch for three, 20-minute halves on Saturday, May 11.
A BBQ is being put on pitchside and the club bar will be showing the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Wigan on the big screen.
In a joint statement on Tuesday Fleet’s chairman Jessica McQueen and director Phil Sonsara say the club does not have short term cash problems but owes more than £25,000 to HMRC.
The March PAYE payment is almost cleared and the April PAYE and the VAT bills are outstanding.
They confirmed there are two interested investors but refused to reveal any further detail.
