VOTERS in Kent go to the polls today (May 2) in a county council election expected to the most hotly contested in recent memory.
More than 400 candidates are standing in the county’s 84 divisions.
Polling stations opened at 7am and will close at 10pm.
The results will be announced tomorrow. (May 3)
