A BEXLEYHEATH restaurant was transformed into a movie set yesterday. (May 2)
A camera crew descended on Huong Quang Vietnamese Restaurant in the Broadway to shoot a romantic comedy called First Date.
Stephen Russell, the movie’s writer and director, describes the film as an "offbeat, feel good, romantic comedy about the trials and tribulations of just falling into awkward, terrifying, wonderful love".
He added: "Too many short stories are so drab, miserable and depressing. Not First Date.
"We're making a fun, funny, unique romantic comedy in the mould of a Kevin Smith or Judd Apatow movie.”
